Photonic Communication Systems

This elective module aims on students of the master's degree program on information and communications engineering (MIC) in the first semester.

By seminaristic teaching and laboratory training students obtain a deepened understanding of photonic communication systems with a focus on optical transmitter and receiver architectures as well as characterization of the transmission link (optical fibre) and the overall system.
