Christopher graduated with a Master's degree in Media Informatics at the Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin in October 2018.
He was a student member in the DATEXIS group from April to September 2018.Christopher did research in the field of Reinforcement Learning (RL) for Named-Entity Recognition (NER) and Active Learning (AL).
Which resulted in his master's thesis with the title "Learning A Sampling Strategy for Named Entity Recognition".
The task was to develop a system which enables the user to compare and develop RL approaches to eventually reduce costs of training machine learning models in the field of NER.
